Daisy’s Destruction. An urban legend. Although there are numerous variations of this story, here is a brief overview of Daisy's destruction.
Daisy has been living in Mandobo village for a few years and has developed a very large group of friends. She meets many of them again when she returns to the village to visit her aunt, who is Daisy's godmother. However, shortly after her return, she notices that the entire community is terrified, especially the children, who are being banished from the village grounds and told to return home by dark. At first she is confused, but then she learns that an accident has occurred where an American explorer came to the village to hunt animals and found a sacred tree. The explorers believe the tree is a tree of death and decided to cut it down. Daisy's tribe believed that the tree was a gift to them from their ancestors, and is the source of their prosperity and health. After Daisy convinces the community that the tree is sacred, the explorer comes to kill it and cut it down. Daisy vows to save the tree, and realizes that she has to return to Mandobo village to save the tree. She and her new group of friends decide to travel together and save the tree by destroying the explorer’s equipment. On their way, they encounter many dangers and difficulties. Before she can succeed, she has to save herself first. Daisy leads her friends to another village where they succeed in destroying the explorer’s equipment. They come to the conclusion that all communities should become one tribe, and all natural treasures should be protected.
